Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed Monday’s trading at the level of 10,509.79 points after rising by 0.72% or 74 points.
The rise was due to the increase in some blue chips as Vodafone Qatar leapt by 1.57^, Industries Qatar rose 1.24%, Nakilat increased 1.07% and Ezdan levelled up 0.57%.
Trading volume increased 62.6% to 6.18 million shares from 3.8 million shares exchanged on Sunday, turnover also rose 32.9% to QAR 236.78 million from QAR 178.11 million.
The banking sector advanced 0.93% as QNB grew 1.23%, the real estate sector rose 0.33%.
On the other hand, the consumer goods and services sector fell alone by 0.38%.
